Dr. Dominique Pritchett — a multi-passionate mental health clinician, speaker and creative entrepreneur. She strategically positions herself to address health disparities and elevate the voices of Black women, girls, communities, and mental health clinicians. She is responding to an unmet need in the community and answer to the necessity of uniquely designed services.

Built to ignite opportunities, growth and mental freedom, she provides therapy and wellness services as the chief executive officer of Beloved Wellness Center. Also, she birthed D. Shantelle Designs™ while healing from an emotionally painful period in her life.  She uses sewing as expressive art to create handmade clutch purses and accessories with names to inspire mental wellness.

Notably, Dr. Dominique helps mental health clinicians escape trials and errors through navigating a plan-based roadmap to maximize their purpose, productivity and profit. She has nearly faced burnout several times throughout her career along with the roller coaster of business. Dr. Dominique can wholeheartedly relate to wherever you are on your clinical journey: confused, low creativity, lack of connectedness, loss of confidence, complacent, and clinically bored.

She does this by integrating her personal, educational and professional experiences through her very own system — Clinician’s Checkpoint™. When she realized there was a solution to building her brand, business and bankroll, Dr. Dominique became less confused and more creative, connected, confident and clinically engaged. Now, her system generates consistent income streams in her businesses and it can work for you too. Whether you are an emerging or established clinician, you are in the right place!

As an interactive speaker, Dr. Dominique uses the art of storytelling and eye-opening statistics to engage, educate and empower her audiences. She has shared her expertise and personal journey of homelessness to healing at numerous community organizations, educational institutions, and conferences. She is known to keep it real, relevant and relatable with a dose of humor. Dr. Dominique's signature speaking topics are focused on trauma, challenges impacting Black women and girls, resilience, student and clinician success, and entrepreneurship. She believes there is power in every story.

Dr. Dominique received her alcohol and drug certification from Gateway Technical College, bachelors degree from Carthage College in social work, masters degree from Loyola University of Chicago in clinical social work and doctorate degree with honors in clinical psychology from Capella University.

Her love languages are dark chocolate, traveling, occasional trap music, a captivating book, working out, sewing, scripture, lipsticks and caramel lattes.
